“an emo anthem through and through. You can feel emotion dripping from every beat, not just every word, right off the bat but even that wasn’t what caught me. What caught me here are the dynamics. The song starts off almost like a hurried whisper but quickly turns into an explosion of emotion and grit before falling back into something a bit more anthemic and soaring… Sometimes the tender moments choke you up but others give you a feeling of enthusiastic triumph. Some of the grittier parts will make you knock over your desk and participate in a one-person mosh pit whereas at other times that grit will give you the motivation to put your head down and conquer that pile of work sitting in front of you.”

“The debut single already carries that typical pop punk energy, but with an emotional layer that pulls it to the territory of emo rock.

Here, the sound doesn't run loose. The construction escapes the obvious. Guitars not only sound bright, they also carry emotion, being complemented equally by bass and drums. In turn, the vocal complements the arrangement in an exceptional way, going beyond a memorable delivery.

In the end, "Fait Accompli" doesn't sound like a generic premiere. Sounds like a starting point for something bigger.”

“I feel a kind of strange happiness when we get songs that lean towards pop punk with a touch of emo, because it reminds me a lot of songs from the early 2000s, just like A Quiet Collapse does with "Fait Accompli"…

In the same way we have a vibrant guitar, which also seems to make light pauses, which become more enveloping and provide a different listening experience. And in that same tone, we have the interpretation which feels full of feeling and emotion, even the chorus that accompanies it in some verses feels that way. And one of my favorite parts and that you should pay attention to comes close to minute 2:18.”
